Grandmaster Bow Sim Mark
This year marks the 50th anniversary of the Chinese Wushu Research Institute, founded by Grandmaster Bow Sim Mark in 1976. A pioneer in the promotion of traditional Chinese martial arts, Grandmaster Mark has earned international recognition for her lifelong dedication to the art. In addition to being an accomplished martial artist, she is also a respected educator, author, and performer whose contributions have had a lasting impact on the martial arts community. Her son, Donnie Yen, has achieved worldwide fame as a martial arts actor and director. Although Grandmaster Mark has retired, her legacy continues through her many students, who carry on her teachings in the Boston area and throughout the world.
Grandmaster Bow Sim Mark
has been teaching Tai Chi, Pakua, Wudang sword, and other internal martial arts in Boston since 1975. She is an educator, an author, and a performer. Her achievements are widely known in the world of martial arts. Her son Donnie Yen is a well-known Kung Fu actor.
